The Law Office of Poorvi B. Parkhie

The Law Office of Poorvi B. Parkhie partners with growth minded businesses to provide legal guidance across every stage of the business lifecycle, with a strong focus on female business owners. She draws personal inspiration from her surroundings and feels a strong connection to Colorado, which influenced how she wanted her firm to be expressed visually. For the website, the goal was to reflect that sense of place and progress without relying on the overused mountain imagery common to firms in the region.

The project began with the design call, where I translated Poorvi’s positioning and openness to creative risk into a clear visual direction. I passed that direction to designer Johara Marie Balahim, who also designed the client’s logo, and guided the structure, tone, branding elements, and overall art direction as the work took shape. The final site balanced warmth, femininity, and modern polish, becoming one of the most distinctive and well received designs to come out of The Modern Firm.

This work was completed as part of my role at The Modern Firm, where I led the creative direction and user experience strategy for the project. Development, copywriting, and project management were handled collaboratively by the TMF team. To learn more about my time at The Modern Firm, view the full case study.
