Catalog Design for a Metal Distributor

Metallic Products

Metallic Products patio catalog

The Metallic Products catalog was one of the final pieces I designed while working at the company. It was my first time creating a full catalog, and it came with an added challenge… all product information was delivered as handwritten notes. That meant manually typing every detail, which significantly extended the timeline. On the design side, it gave me the chance to stretch my illustration skills, creating all product diagrams and technical illustrations from scratch. The cover carried forward the darker aesthetic established in the business cards and website, while the interior pages aligned with the broader visual language of the sales collateral. Years later, Ruben Cabrera would reach out to me to create the product catalogue for the child company Metallic Products patio. Let’s just say that design showed how far my skills evolved in the year since being employed at MP.

That catalog is still in use today. The metal distribution industry doesn’t change product lines often, which means work I created 15 years ago is still active across the company. That longevity is something I take real pride in.
